Sherry Ann Walker

BURLEY – Sherry Ann Walker, age 75, of Burley, passed away in her home on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015.

Sherry was born on October 3, 1940, to Merle and Theda Kelly, in Ainsworth, Nebraska. Sherry graduated from Minico High School in Rupert, Idaho and married George B. Walker on June 3, 1960.

Sherry will be remembered for her love of gardening, NASCAR (especially Tony Stewart), Stevo’s Restaurant, Santa Claus Collectibles, and her propensity to return almost as much as she purchased online.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Walker; and sisters, Karen Vansant and Linda Dunn. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; and her beloved dog, Spuddy Buddy.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Mountain View Christian Center, 317 W. 27 St., in Burley, with pastor Jim Powell officiating.

Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to the care of Rasmussen Funeral Home of Burley.
