Olivia Buenrostro

In Loving Memory of Olivia Buenrostro 74 of Rupert, ID.

Olivia went home to her Heavenly Father after a long battle with cancer. She passed peacefully on March 24, 2020, at Countryside Care & Rehab in Rupert.

Olivia was born to Elida & Concepcion Buenrostro on March 22, 1946, in Mercedes, Texas.

Her birthday was extra special because she got to share it with a twin brother.

She spent many years in Texas before moving back to Idaho in 2017.

She had 3 children: Ramiro, Noelia, & Pablo Riojas. She was a loving mother, sister, grandma, & great grandma. She had 9 grandkids & 10 great grandkids with one on the way.

She loved singing & dancing. She loved spending time with her grandkids & great grandkids. She was always so happy when she received a phone call or a card for any occasion from her family.

She loved Idaho spuds & coke. She also enjoyed watching game shows like Price is Right & Wheel of fortune. She also loved playing Mexican bingo & playing a board game every now & then with family.

She is survived by her sons: Ramiro Riojas of Rupert & Pablo Riojas (Vicki C.) Of Nampa, grandkids, & great grandkids. Sisters & brothers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, sister, brother, daughter, & daughter-in-law.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Countryside Care & Rehab.

Private family Viewing will be held Thursday March 26, 2020, at Hansen Mortuary Rupert, Idaho and a Graveside services will be held Monday March 30, 2020, at Mount Calvary Cemetery Nampa, Idaho. Services are under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.
