BURLEY – Michael "Mike" Dean Rideout, 47, of Burley, returned to his Heavenly Father, Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at his home as a result of heart complications.
He was born June 10, 1969, in Richland, Wash., the son of Ronald and Dorothy Rideout. He lived in Washington until 1979, and then moved to Twin Falls where he graduated from high school. Mindy and Mike were married on October 14, 2006.
Mike was able to enjoy his family in their "new" home in Burley. They both worked at the Amalgamated Sugar Company. Mike worked there for 20 years. He was a good worker and his co-workers enjoyed working with him. They sorely miss him.
Mike loved being with his family. They were gone on weekends and vacations enjoying the wonderful things this world has to offer. He loved camping, hunting, fishing, going to the Oregon coast, getting Christmas trees up in the mountains and being a great chef at family gatherings -- he was very active with his family. He will be greatly missed! There never was a dull moment around Mike and he enjoyed being with his family and his friends.
We look forward to graduating some day as Mike has done and move on to more wonderful and greater experiences. In the meantime, we treasure the time and the memories we had with him.
Mike is survived by his dear wife, Mindy-jo "Mindy"; sons, Matthew, Brandon, Nicholas; daughters, Tashynna and Karynna; step-sons, Mark and Jesse Denton; his mother and step-father, Dorothy and John Wolters; siblings, Debbie (Mark) McCollum of Washington, Jeannie Rideout and Kevin Rideout both of Twin Falls; and many extended family members and loved friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at the Burley LDS Stake Center Cultural Hall, 2050 Normal Ave., with Bishop Luke Trevino officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Rasmussen Funeral Home of Burley.
