DECLO - Mae Louise (Schummer) Crawford, 57, passed away at her home in Declo, Idaho, on April 28, 2019. Mae died from a bleeding stomach ulcer.
Mae was born in Burley, Idaho, on May 31, 1961. Her first home was the Land Ranch in Oakley, Idaho, where she also attended school. Later in life she lived with and took care of her mother until she passed. Mae was divorced from John Crawford and had no children.
As a young girl Mae loved horses and was an excellent rider. She was the fifth Schummer child to ride the family horse, Little John. She was always a dog lover and couldn’t turn a stray away. She left behind her dog, Tuffman (named after the bull rider Tuff Hedeman), and Troubles the cat (stray). Mae rarely turned down a chance to go fishing, loved to yard sale, enjoyed rodeos, was a big Green Bay Packers fan, and had a soft spot in her heart for wolves. She loved being with family and friends and having a good time.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Vic and Madge Schummer; two brothers Terry and Mark; and nephews Chance Schummer, Mickey and Daniel McKnight.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date, cremation arrangements were entrusted to the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
