Jose Jesus Miramontes

BURLEY – Jose Jesus Miramontes, age 40, of Boise, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Cassia Regional Hospital in Burley.

Jose was born to Jose and Marie Miramontes on Nov. 4, 1976, in Gilroy, California. He worked in construction most of his life. Jose loved to play baseball and he was a star pitcher for Burley High School. He also loved to fish, camp, hike or do any outdoor sports.

Jose is survived by his parents; and four children, Andre, Mia (Rita Taylor), Emilio and Oscar. Jose is also survived by his sister, Mary Jo Miramontes; and her two children, Mykal and Alex.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and a nephew.

The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 4, at the Little Flower Catholic Church, 1601 Oakley Ave., in Burley, with the Reverend Father Julio Vicente as celebrant. Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery.

A vigil will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, at the Little Flower Catholic Church, with the recitation of the holy rosary beginning at 7 p.m.
