BURLEY – Jesus Rene Rocha, a 46-year-old Burley resident, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020, in Ely, Nevada.
He was born to Miguel Angel and Consuelo Rocha in their home in Mexico on January 9, 1974, the third of eight children. Jesus graduated from Oakley High School, the Hornets class of 1994. Jesus was the father of one child, a daughter. His first job was in Oakley with Anderson’s at the age of 13, then he worked with his parents in their trucking business. He also worked for the City of Burley and the J.R. Simplot Company.
Jesus loved working on cars and going to car shows, but nothing competed with the love he had for his family, friends, and ladies. Jesus loved people; he had an incredible memory and he never forgot a face. He was great at making people smile and loved it when ladies would come up to him and tell him he had the most beautiful eyes. He always gave them a huge smile in return. His friends and family brought so much joy into his life and he loved every moment he spent with them. He also loved the Las Vegas Raiders and was a #1 Raiders fan.
Jesus is survived by his parents, Miguel Angel and Consuelo Rocha; three sisters, Lou, Marisela, and Lolly; three brothers, Ivan, Jaime, and Cesar; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Roberto; and his grandparents.
