Jaquelyn Monique Zavala

Jaquelyn Monique Zavala passed away August 21, 2016 due to a tragic accident. She was born September 28, 2005 in Burley, Idaho to Anna M. Castro and Mario Zavala and resided in Rupert. She was a member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church and enjoyed playing football, swimming and spending time with her family and younger siblings.

Jaquelyn is survived by her parents Anna M. Castro and Mario Zavala, grandparents Benjamin Castro, Estela Castro, Armando Zavala, and Serafina Ceja, brothers Ismael Zavala, Luis Mario Zavala Kevin Xavier Castro, and Kendrick Axel Castro, and sister Anayelli Itzel Babtista. She is preceded in death by Consuelo Castro Vega, Delifino Castro, Valentin Navarrete, Jose Agustin Zavala and Salvador Castro.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 at St Nicholas Catholic Church. Vigil services will be held 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016. Condolences may be shared with the family between 6-8:00 p.m. at the Hansen Mortuary. Services will conclude with burial in the Rupert Cemetery under the direction of Hansen Mortuary.
