Filamena Rochford

Filamena Rochford our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother passed away February 14, 2018 Valentine's Day at Country Side Rehab in Rupert, Idaho at the age of 103. She was born January 21, 1915 in Paradise Valley, Nevada. She was the second of three girls born to Timothy and Emelia Plaza Evaseta, immigrants from the Basque Country. She married Kenneth Rochford on November 4, 1933 in Rupert, Idaho. From that marriage one son was born, Galen Rochford(Dolores) of Rupert. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Pam and Marty. She had four great grandchildren, Nikki, Casey, Gabby, and Emiley and also six great-great grandchildren. She was very happy at Country Side playing Bingo and playing cards until her eyesight started to fail. Filamena was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Rochford, sisters Remedius Hale and Margaret Whiting. Visitation will be at the Hansen Mortuary in Rupert, Idaho on February 20, 2018 at 1:00pm followed by graveside service at the Rupert Cemetery. The family wishes to thank everyone at Country Side Care and Rehab for the excellent care that was given to Filemena. Those friendships will not be forgotten.
