BURLEY, IDAHO – Caroline Ross Gallegos, 67, of Burley, and formerly of Plain City, Utah, died Wednesday Dec. 9, 2015.
Caroline was born Jan. 6, 1948, to Milo James and Gladys Maxine Ross. She married Lynn J Taylor May 1, 1964, and was blessed with three children. She was a wonderful farmer’s wife, always making time for family and friends. She was a very thoughtful and giving neighbor, taking in meals and treats; she was a wonderful cook. She worked and served in may church callings throughout her life and was always positive, inspirational, selfless, and kind to everyone. She had a special way of making others smile and brightening their day. She loved to joke around and not let tough times get her down.
Later, she moved to Utah, where she married Abran Gallegos, and gained three more children. She worked for the IRS for many years and then retired. Her family was blessed to have her move back to Idaho in August, where she spent the last five months of her life, making others smile and enjoying the important things.
Caroline is survived by her husband, Abran Gallegos of Ogden, Utah; brother, Milo P (Janice) Ross of Paul, Idaho; children, Christy (Sterling) Neilson of Rupert, Idaho, Cindy (Steve) Pease of Albion, Idaho, Lonny (Amy) Taylor of Declo, Idaho, Darlene Martinez of Ogden, Utah, Maxine (Oscar) Guzman of Ogden, Utah, and Judy (Anthony) Martinez of Ogden, Utah; 20 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Judy.
