MURTAUGH – Bradley Boyd Lisonbee passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, in an unexpected accident. He was born on Sept. 25, 1980, and would have celebrated his 33rd birthday this week.
Bradley was a superhero. Everyone who knew him, whether for five minutes or for five years, was impressed by his gentle, strong nature and good humor. He was inspirational, motivational, encouraging, supportive, genuinely compassionate, and nonjudgmental. He was the same man to everyone – what you saw was what you got. There are few men on this earth who are as secure in their convictions as he was and he was greatly loved by so many people.
Bradley's parents are Sherry Poulton Heap and Gene Lisonbee. He was raised with his three siblings, Brent, Angie, and Alyssa, in a loving home and enjoyed an especially close bond with his mother who gave him the support and love he needed to become the man of strength that he was.
Bradley married his wife and best friend, Amanda Suni Overbay, on Aug. 27, 2010, and they loved each other deeply and expressively. They raised a blended family, a real life "Yours, Mine and Ours," and they were very successful in creating a strong and loving family unit. Bradley had three children with Brandy Hansen (Brisa, Zion and Colson), adopted his wife's daughter (Jovi), was a stepparent to Victoria and Zoe, and had three children with his wife, Amanda (Enzi, Echo and the soon to be born, Cowboy). All of his children loved him and admired him and he was their hero.
When one of the children was asked what his hobbies were the answer was, "taking care of Momma and all of us." He loved to fish and being outdoors enjoying nature. Many people considered him to be one the best steelhead fisherman they knew, but his greatest passion was his family.
Bradley was the brewer at Von Scheidt Brewing Company and was proud of his accomplishments there and enjoyed the respect and admiration of his peers in the field and the people who loved his product. As in everything that he did, he poured his heart into creating something that was impressive.
Bradley leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, loyalty, and friendship that is truly remarkable, and his memory will inspire people for years to always remember to make each day and each encounter one that you can be proud of. Many, many people will think of him and be reminded to love.
Bradley is survived by his wife, Amanda Suni Lisonbee; his children, Victoria, Zoe, Brisa, Jovi, Enzi, Echo, Zion, Colson and soon to be born, Cowboy; his mother, Sherry Poulton Heap of Heyburn; his father, Gene Lisonbee of Farmington, Utah; his stepfather, Faron Heap; his mother-in-law, Robin Overbay of Salem, Ore.; his father-in-law, Morgan Overbay of Rockaway Beach, Ore.; his siblings, Brent Lisonbee of Rupert, Angie (Jason) Stanger of Kimberly, and Alyssa Lisonbee of Salt Lake City, Utah; and many other family members who deeply loved him.
