He was very patriotic and loved his country and was very proud of his service for his country. He loved to attend the patriotic services at the park in Rupert Idaho around the 4th of July and this year he was almost the oldest veteran there.

He loved his family and made an effort to spend time with his siblings and their families and Roberta's siblings and their families. He loved and cared for Roberta's mother as he would his own. Each one of his children and their children were loved and cherished.

He loved dancing, snowmobiling, water skiing, snow skiing, camping, fishing, hunting, playing and coaching softball, bowling, doing cross word puzzles and anything else he could do outside with his family.

He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and gave his all in each calling he was given. He and Roberta served a service mission at the cannery during the Y2K scare so they worked very hard and helped fill a lot of pantries.

He was a very hard worker and worked very hard to take care of his family. He delivered fuel for Bailey Oil, then purchased Art's 66 service station, worked at Ore-ida and Dalry electric and then retired as an electrician from Kraft's food.
